To discpline you girls out of love, and to respect you Kevin at all times, to always try to swallow my pride and admit when I am wrong... to Praise the Lord for your lives, to thank God for gifting you to me, to admire Gods soveriegn plan in knowing just what I would need for a husband and daughters, I am blessed, and I promise I will never forget that nor will I take it for granted!

life has recently become far less stressful. We are feeling more in control of everything and not so much like we are just surviving, it is a good feeling! We are enjoying our girls, even on their rough days...enjoying our new apartment and the cheap rent that came a long with it and are back to enjoying a few hours together when the kids are asleep! life is good!

Averi and Sofie


These two girls may look alike but they are oh so different! Av was not nearly as fussy as Sof...but you had to work really hard to make Av laugh, Sof will laugh at anything-her grin will melt your heart! Averi did really good at learning to put herself to sleep...Sofie is stubborn, but I think it is just because she wants to cuddle! Averi was always little bitty...miss sofie is a regular chunk, both girls are gorgeous! They are so different and I am so excited to watch them grow to be best of friends, share secrets, giiggle at night when they should be asleep...oh I can not wait! I love having daughters, I am incredibly blessed to be their mama, I so hope they always know I consider it a priveledge that God gifted them to me!

Sofie is three months!

WOW the last three months has gone by in a BLUR... Sofie was born... the next month we was thanksgiving... the next month was Christmas... and then we hit off the new years by moving into a new apartment! Needless to say sweet Sofia Pearl has had a busy life thus far!
It seems she slept through the night better last month then she has this month... she typically goes to bed at 8, I wake her up just enough to feed her at 10:30 before I go to bed and then she gets up at about 5 to eat again... then she gets up at about 830. I would love for her to drop that 5 am feeding but really am not complaining, especially because she typically naps so well throughout the day!
she is my chunky girl, she has a sweet double chin and rolly polly thighs! Oh how I love all that chub, she is my Sofie Mcfat-fat! She nurses randomely, Im not the best at scheduling her, sometimes it is at every two hours then there are times she will go four hours, she does nurse for comfort when she is tired or just fussy it always calms her...that may be why she is such a chunk!
She laughs and smiles constantly and is rolling from her belly to her back all the time! She likes to sit in her bumbo and watch her big sister play! She is adorable, plain and simple, she is a doll inside and out.I am blessed!

Miss Sofie Pearl you are so LOVED we can not imagine our home withou your high pitched screams and squeels... giggles, and gorgeous grins! We love you!

BANG!

This afternoon I laid Averi down in her crib for her afternoon nap. I heard her talking to herself, and about two minutes later herad BANG and a loud SCREAM. I ran into her room only to discover my sweet girl ON THE FLOOR! She decided to attempt getting out of her crib on her own! Needless to say we have decided it is time to finally mover her to her twin bed and buy a rail for it... I let her sleep in our queen bed, right in the middle with pillows on either side, for nap time, I only had to come up and tell her twice to lay back down...so I am praying when we officially move her in the next week to her bed she will do that good! I can not believe my baby is that big!

Nana and Papa

I've been telling Averi all week that Nana and Papa are coming to see her this weekend. So now she has taken to walking around the house "looking" for Nana and Papa, Yelling "Nana.... Papa" despite me telling her a hundred times they arent here yet! If you ask her whose coming this weekend she will get very excited and respond "PAPA NANA" it is so sweet that she is so in love with her sweet grandparents and despite the fact that they are three hours away she knows who they are and looks forward to their visit!

January has come and we are playing hard inside because it is FREEZING outside! i did manage to take Av out for twenty minutes and let her run some major soon to be two year old energy off in the snow, she loved it!

Kevin took Averi on a sweet Father Daughter date to Mcdonalds today! He said they had a lot of fun and she seemed to enjoy herself! What could be better then eating chicken nuggets and hanging out with your "dada"?
