I do not have more fun with anyone else... whether it be caring for kiddos, watching a good tv show or going on a date this man always makes it FUN!

weekend in TN

We spent the weekend in TN... it ended up being pretty cold so despite being at the farm we spent most of our time inside! It was very fun tho and we so enjoyed seeing family, as always Averi was Addisons little side kicked, she followed him everywhere! We are so blessed to be a part of such a sweet and helpful family!





We have realized more and more how blessed we are to be a part of this family and how much we need their help with the kids. So after much prayer we have decided, for many reasons, to move to Murfreesboro TN, mostly to be close to them. There are several reasons we feel it is right for us to move and as we prayed about it God really opened the doors to make it happen. I think most people close to us already know of our decision but I wanted to officially announce it on our blog! Our lease is over August 1st we will move then. We are excited but ofcourse nervous for all the change. Please keep us in your prayers as we look for a house to rent and begin a new chapter of our lives!

bath time

Averi LOVES taking baths, and I mean LOVES! On monday while I was at weight watchers Kev graciously gave Av and sof their baths, HE didnt drain the water immediatly, (giving baths is a little over whelming for him)...so after he had both girls dressed, lotioned and diapered Averi decided she wanted another dip!


As soon as she got in she must have realized taking a bath with your clothes on is not much fun because she immediatly started saying "daddy I want out"...

Life just doesnt get any better then this...

5 months...ALREADY?

Sofie,
You are a bubbly FIVE MONTHS! I keep asking myself how you got so big so fast! You are a happy little nut and only seem to cry when you are tired! You and your sister have really become best buds this month, she wants to play with you all the time and desires to meet your every need. You will have to forgive her she is still learning to be gentle so she can tend to be a little rough! This month you have started to roll from back to belly, although it is not yet consistant. You are also eating solids, youve mastered rice cereal and you have begun green beans, you arent crazy about green beans but power through we will! You are teething like crazy yet we see no teeth coming through, but you are a drool monster and chewing on everything! I have stopped night time feedings as you had begun to use me as your pacifier vs. really nursing out of hunger, you are not fond of not being fed at night but it has only been a couple nights so I know you will get the hint and eventually quit getting up.... I hope! We LOVE you Sofia Pearl you are beautiful, you are precious and you are a blessing!

When you are pregnant you want the perfectly round cute belly... and believe me over the last two years I have had TWO round, Huge, maybe not so cute bellies!

Well unfortunately once you have that sweet baby you no longer have a round belly... you have a jelly roles!!! Now that Sofie is 5 months old and things have calmed down around our house Ive taken my rather large behind to weight watchers! I never thought I would need to pay money to lose weight, but I guess I do because it is working! The meetings, for me, are very motivational. I leave encouraged to keep up the good work. The fact that I have to get on a scale every week in front of someone sure helps you stay comitted as well...to me it is all worth the money! I just finished my 3rd week and (im going to brag on myself a little) have lost 14.4 lbs... it is not easy thats for sure but begining to feel like yourself, and even the ounce of confidence it gives you is worth all the effort! So bye bye jelly rolls!!

if we ever...

If we ever have a son I am sure he will be a total blast, although I have NO idea what to do with a boy, it would certainly be a learning process! For now I am totaly thrilled having two gorgeous daughters! I love their sweet sides and I love that they want to cuddle, that Averi is a little mama and that I can dress them up like little sweeties!I doubt Kev would let me put that flower Sofie is wearing on a son!

Dear minivan...
I am totaly in love with you! i dont know if it is because we have had one car for 8 months which has been a struggle or it is because we now have enough room to stretch out... either way I love you! I love that I can take the girls out during the day without worrying about getting Kevin to work on time or picking him up! I love that with a press of a button the sliding doors come open! I love that I am not battling our double stroller to fit into the truck and I love that I can fit both kids and groceries in you with no hassle...you have made our life much easier minivan, and reminded me how blessed we truly are!

PRAISE THE LORD the sun has returned to louisville this week and we have been living it up at the park... it has been wonderful to get outside! So this weeks theme is SUNNY...
This is Averi last july, (doesnt she look so young?),Averi loves the outdoors! We cant wait for the weather to get warm enough to swim!

My sister and her family came to visit this week! It was great to see them and watch Corbin and Averi play together!

VAN

after two months of looking we got a VAN!!! It is a 2002 Honda odyssey, we couldnt be happier!

Todays theme is Weddings, including my own I have been in 5 weddings!
First my sister had a beach ceremony in florida a few months after she got married in order to include family and friends, I was her maid of honor!


The next wedding I was in was by far the best wedding Ive ever been too, I may be partial tho since it was my own!




Next I was a very pregnant (8 months!) bridesmaid in my friend Abbys wedding, my mom had to actually make me a knock off version in maternity of the bridemais dresses! Kevin was also a groomsmen in this wedding!


three months after Averi was born i was in my friend Brookes wedding...



Then last summer, I was pregnant once again, about four months along, i was in my sweet friend Lindsays wedding!




It has been a blessing to be in each of these weddings!
